Yuan is a ceremonial-grade matcha rooted in Hubei, China. Crafted from a blend of Yabukita and Longjing 43, it delivers a bold umami with a touch of nori seaweed—perfect for your everyday matcha. Harvested during the first flush of spring in Hubei, China.

[ Yuan Story ]

“Yuan” (缘) speaks of fate and connection in Chinese. Our matcha comes from Hubei, a region known for its beautiful lakes and waterways, which inspired the story behind its name. In old love stories, people would often 结缘 by the lake, where a simple encounter could become the beginning of something lasting.

Yuan is our way of celebrating that little bit of serendipity. Sometimes, the best things are simply meant to be found.
